Having been in the industry for over two decades, I am still as excited about hair as I was when I started. For the last 17 years I have devoted a lot of my time to education. I have worked with some of the largest manufacturers in the industry. I have traveled all over the United States teaching advanced color and cutting techniques to professional hairdressers, I am currently working with Pravana International, a Los Angeles based color company. Education allows me to sharpen and maintain my skill and bring as much back to my co-workers and more importantly, my clients. I continue to be inspired, and motivated to do the best work I can and I feel very privileged to have had all of the great opportunities. I look forward to many more years of success and the opportunity to meet new clients.
Christian Traynor ~ Design Artist/ Color Technician
Since 1994 I have combined my skills and talents to create styles that are "most talked about" for clients in every salon where I have practiced my art. I started my career with Russell the Salon and Day Spa where I began to develop my skills as a stylist. Prior to that I graduated from Seattle Central Community College school of Cosmetology, a pivot point school with an advance cosmetology license. Always learning new skills drives me to become the best stylist that I can be. I continued my training as an apprentice at Russell's for a year learning advance techniques and the latest hair trends. Throughout my career I have combined education and experience to develop my own unique style. Rest assured when you sit in my chair I'll bring all of my experience, education, and stylistic talents to make you look and feel fabulous.
Elaine Dong ~ Design Artist
Elaine, a Seattle native has been styling hair for over five years. Elaine has many specialties, such as haircuts with lots of texture and dimension. She also enjoys custom color and permanent straightening services. Outside of work her passions are water sports, snowboarding, and volunteering at Children's Hospital. Elaine is currently building her clientele and would love to meet you and offer expert advice with a free consultation.
Jeri Justice-Lusher ~ Design Artist
Jeri’s cousin Rachel Moormeier came to her with a vision and a plan to open a high end salon with a personal touch. A perfect fit for Jeri’s own philosophy she brought her career to Salon Voda. Jeri has passion and enthusiasm for her work and it shows in the care she takes with each and every client. She has been creating fabulous hair styles for over 20 years, starting her career at Gene Juarez as a cutting specialist. Continued technical training and extensive education have allowed Jeri to customize each service for her ever growing list of clients.

'Long hair glamour' and women who want to make a sexy statement at any age are part of the vision I have been creating over the past eighteen years. Gene Juarez training and employment gave me the experience and confidence to be self employed. I've been working at salons around the city but Salon Voda is where I found my family. Tomboy though I was, hair was a means of expression at an early age. I loved styling hair and never thought I'd be in the industry, but my mother gave me a choice and I chose Beauty School instead of college. Styling got me here, but color is my inspiration. I am bold and fearless with color and my traveling experience in Italy, France, and the Mediterranean keeps a classic perspective as well. My goal is to give my client a younger look, a sense of attraction, and a vibrancy that takes hold inside to instill complete confidence. My faith, my son Gabriel, and my family ground me. Gabriel puts a smile on my face and gives me a fresh new outlook on life every day. I am blessed to be at Salon Voda. I love being surrounded by talented and positive artists who encourage my freedom and creativity to come to life. I'm excited to see what the future holds for me.
